In 2001, Desvoys launched its first roadside mulcher, the DMF! Strong demand for this machine even prompted the company to expand with the acquisition of our second production site in Ernée, Mayenne. Over the years, several models have been developed to suit every need. Now a must-have, here are 5 reasons to choose these horizontal axis shredders.

Our DMF range of verge shredders currently comprises 5 products, each designed to meet different needs and equipment requirements. They differ in size, working width and equipment.

Robust, durable roadside shredders
Exposed to stones and tree stumps, verge shredders have to be tough. That's why robustness and quality are part of our commitment and our guiding principle.
Our DMF shredders feature double parallelogram arms, making them stronger and more stable. This is all the more important for machines that are mainly used off-site.
DMF Poly-Green and Polygreen-Plus are equipped with a retractable connecting rod safety device, while DMF Standard, Entreprise and Entreprise Plus are equipped with a “Non-Stop” safety device on the linkage. With automatic reset, these two solutions allow mechanical and maintenance-free removal of the shredding unit.
The skids are made of wear-resistant steel and therefore resist friction for longer. In the case of very uneven terrain, they are in direct contact with the ground. In these situations, these spare parts are essential to preserve the rotor.
Their rollers with removable, watertight ends are easy to maintain. They not only give our machines good stability, but are also used to adjust the cutting height.
Roadside shredders for a variety of uses
Did you know? DMF stands for Desvoys Multi-Fonction. These machines are aptly named, as they can be used for a variety of purposes.
Thanks to their flexibility, they can be used for all types of road maintenance. Their offset design is also a real asset for orchard maintenance. Some robust models are particularly well-suited to meadow maintenance. Shredding grass and undergrowth at the edge of fields is also one of these machines' strengths.
DMF shredders easily attached to the rear of the tractor. If you're looking to use a front-mounted shredder and combine it with another tool, we offer two other roadside shredders: the Acco-Green and the Acco-Road.
Roadside shredders for all types of terrain
Thanks to their floating tilt cylinder, the machine adapts and follows the terrain for an even shredding. Maximum tilt values are +90° and -45°. Two models, the DMF Poly-Green Plus and the DMF Entreprise Plus, feature an external gearbox for greater right-hand offset. Offsets (depending on model and width) range from 1m85 to 3m40. These are not insignificant features, especially for shredding in deep ditches.
The soupless floating hitch, available as an option on DMF Entreprise and DMF Entreprise Plus, provides full suspension of the shredding unit during transport and work.
Roadside shredders designed for safety
For use on the road, we offer an optional reflective strip signalling kit to ensure that all road users can see the machine.
The zinc-coated front anti-splash paddles can be replaced by the optional chain curtain on 3 of the 5 existing models. Heavier, it is suitable for intensive work and heavy debris projection.
